Motocross Rumours tracks silly season claims across supercross and motocross: who is signing where, who said so, and how reliable they have proved before. Every claim is graded by a published methodology and scored against what actually happens.
The site is edited by James Burfield, whose motocross writing background includes MX Vice, and is part of the MECCA network alongside Motocross MECCA, a race results database covering every world and AMA championship since 1952. Rider histories, titles and form data on this site are served directly from that database.
Rumours are reported as attributed claims, never as fact. When a claim is denied on the record, the denial is published in the Corrections and Denials column. When we are wrong, the correction appears on the affected page with a dated note; we do not silently edit or delete. To dispute any claim we track, contact us and we will review the sourcing.
The site carries no sponsored rumours. No team, rider, agent or manufacturer pays for placement or grading.
