The biggest move of the week comes out of the Tedder camp. Swapmoto reports that Cooper Webb will ride for the newly titled Monster Energy / Rocky Mountain / Husqvarna / Team Tedder Racing effort in 2027, and that one is confirmed.
The supporting pieces carry our top grade without being signed off. Swapmoto also has Justin Hill on the same squad for 2027, and the team switching to Husqvarna machinery, both at grade A. Treat those as very likely rather than done.
Confirmed elsewhere: Aaron Plessinger has already signed with Triumph for 2027, per Vital MX's silly season board. RJ Hampshire is official with Troy Lee Designs Red Bull Ducati Factory Racing on a multi-year deal for the premier class aboard the Desmo 450MX, as reported by Gatedrop.
Ducati's MX2 line-up is settled too. Gatedrop and MX Vice both have Nicolai Skovbjerg stepping up from EMX250 to the Beddini Racing Ducati MX2 Factory Team, alongside Ferruccio Zanchi, who stays for Ducati's first full MX2 campaign.
Three riders are now loose. MX Vice confirms Michael Mosiman is leaving Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing with his next team unnamed, Kevin Horgmo has left Team Honda SR after three seasons, and Francesco Bellei is done at Cat Moto after one year, having been offered something the team could not match.
On the rumour board, Gatedrop reports Racestore KTM are planning an MX2 World Championship return for 2027 with Andrea Uccellini and Niccolo Mannini. Both the team claim and the rider claim sit at grade B, so they need a second source.
Two grade D items from Gatedrop for the record: Nicolo Alvisi moving from Maddii Honda to BUD Kawasaki, and a new Italian outfit, GI Cross Racing Team, joining the paddock as an EMX entry. Thin stuff for now.
No denials filed this week, which is unusual with this much movement.
The tally: seven new claims, 31 confirmations, zero denials, 134 live rumours on the board.
Next week should answer whether Hill signs on the dotted line, where Mosiman and Horgmo land, and whether anyone backs Gatedrop on the Racestore return.
